Following the devastating fire of April 2022, we are overjoyed that St John’s Church will be reopening in November and very much look forward to seeing you.

As well as our regular services and the main reopening service with Bishop Matthew on 13th December, we’d love you to join us at one of our open days. Come along, see the wonderful work that has been completed and enjoy some refreshments with us.

Open days: Wednesday 18th November, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th November 1pm to 5pm. Saturday 21st November 10am to 4pm.

St John the Evangelist Church is one of three churches which form the Benefice of Hartshill, Penkhull and Trent Vale in Stoke-on-Trent.

St John’s is a friendly Anglican Church situated on the main A34 between Newcastle and Hanford. The congregation come from many different walks of life and Christian backgrounds.We aim to support and help one another on our journey of faith. Our main weekly service is held at 10.00am on Sundays, and Morning Worship at 10am on Wednesdays. All services are easy to follow as they are projected on the big screen, along with the scripture readings, and hymns. A mixture of tradition and modern worship music is played.
